|Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere|
In this presentation I argue that injustice is color blind and knows no boundaries and I draw parallels between human and animal slavery based on my emotionally heart wrenching trip to Elmina Castle on the Gold Coast of Africa where the slave trade started and flourished a couple of hundred years ago. I also draw parallels between sexism, speciesism, classism, and racism based on events that have and continue to transpire in African countries. And I finally argue that humanities belief and adherence to a hierarchical world view that has religious and Greco-Roman philosophic roots is a main factor for all the "isms" that plagues our world today and has plagued us for millennia.
