Anthony Marr has a degree in physics and is the author of two books: "OMNI-SCIENCE and the Human Destiny" (2003) and "Homo Sapiens! SAVE YOUR EARTH!" (2008). In 1995, he cleaned up North American Chinatowns of endangered species medicine. In 1996, he led "the highest-profile anti-trophy-hunting campaign in Canada" (Globe and Mail). From 1997-1999, he worked in three tiger reserves in India. In 1999, he founded Heal Our Planet Earth (HOPE). In 2004 and 2005, he conducted operations in Japan against whaling and dolphin slaughter. Since 2003, he had completed 5 Compassion for Animals Road Expeditions (CARE tours), on the Canadian seal massacre, whaling, urban deer culling and bow-hunting. In 2008, he launched his current 3-year Global Emergency Operation (GEO) focusing on mass extinction due to global warming. At the AR2010 conference, he was honored with the Henry Spira Grassroots Activist Award.
